Water Treatment

The water from the filter press operations will be discharged into a baffled 75,000-gallon tank to allow for additional settling of any granular material left in the water. Polymer will be added to improve settling performance if needed.

The water from the tank will be pumped through a series of filters which will allow it to be discharged according to USEPA and WDNR regulations.

Water from onsite stormwater collection, water from onsite decontamination of transport trucks, and other equipment will also be treated before being discharged in accordance with USEPA and WDNR regulations.
